The existence of the most prominent artists' community in Jersey City (as well as in the entire State of New Jersey), is currently in danger!  The owner of the 111 First Street building is seeking to force out artists and small business people who pioneered the Arts and Entertainment District, a neighborhood designated  by the City of Jersey as a mixed-use, live/work district for serious professional artists.

If you believe that having one of the largest, most diverse concentrations of artistic activity in the greater metropolitan area is important to the quality of your life, the education of your children, the value of your property, and the success of your business, then City Hall needs to hear your voices now!
